All staff working in Catholic schools or at the Catholic Education Office of Western Australia, are required to undertake accreditation.

Regardless of your role, accreditation begins with two components: 

  • Orientation
    • Orientation welcomes staff into the Catholic Education system. All staff newly appointed in Catholic schools are required to attend Orientation. 
    • Attendance is required at a one-day Orientation program conducted by the Catholic Education Office in non-term time within the first year of appointment (where possible, prior to taking up the appointment). 

Following that, there are several distinct pathways: 

When Accreditation is achieved, Ongoing renewal is required.
