Catholic schools aim to provide safe supportive and respectful teaching and learning environments where Gospel values are actively lived and the
principles of the Safe Schools Hub are practiced.
Schools have a variety of personnel, procedures and strategies to ensure student safety and wellbeing, which may include psychologists, counsellors, social workers and staff with pastoral care responsibilities. Each school will be able to provide information on its own supports.
All schools have access to psychology services to support students. Some larger
schools and colleges employ their own educational psychologists; other schools
receive services from the Psychology Team.
