Year Twelve Seminar in Perth

St Joseph’s College Albany Year Twelve students of Stage 3 Religion and Life recently travelled to Perth to participate in a seminar and workshop organised by the Catholic Education Western Australia during the April school holidays. More than 200 students from urban and rural areas of WA gathered together to prepare for their ATAR examinations.

Archbishop Costelloe delivered a lecture on Saint Don Bosco, whose bicentennial of birth will occur on 16th August. Students displayed a great level of academic aptitude by taking notes during the lecture, discussing topics during the workshop and asking questions of the Archbishop.

Students stayed at Swanleigh Camp in Middle Swan for two nights and had the opportunity to share more time together in their last year at the College.
