Awards of Excellence in Catholic Aboriginal Education

The Awards of Excellence in Catholic Aboriginal Education were announced at a dinner in Fremantle on Friday, 28 August 2015, recognising outstanding individuals and schools.

Six Aboriginal students were presented with awards, in recognition of the leadership, motivation and commitment to their culture and education demonstrated over 2014 and 2015.

Also acknowledged with awards on the night were two long-serving Aboriginal staff members in Catholic Education, an outstanding Aboriginal member of the Catholic Education community, a dedicated Aboriginal educator, and two schools excelling in Aboriginal education.

It was a fantastic night celebrating the achievements of some of those who are leading by example in the area of Catholic Aboriginal Education, congratulations to all the award winners!
