Nominations are now open for this year’s Positive Image Award.
Sponsored by the Catholic Education Office, the award looks for students involved in youth projects and activities, and who inspire other students through their work. Teachers, student councils and individual secondary students are able to nominate an outstanding student for the award.
First introduced in 1998, the awards recognise the contributions made by secondary students throughout the state.
Secondary schools are encouraged to nominate a school ambassador, who will then be entered into the competition and will be in the running to become the ambassador for their education region.
Applications close 5pm on Friday 28 September. More information and entry kits can be found on the Department for Communities
website or phone 08 6551 8700.
