Enterprise Bargaining Agreements

The conditions and entitlements of staff working in Catholic schools are specified in Enterprise Bargaining Agreements (EBAs). These EBAs are also specific to the area in which your school is located and the structure of your school. 

Currently there are two major EBAs:

Catholic Education Western Australia Staff at Leederville, Bunbury, Geraldton and Broome Offices

Staff working at Catholic Education Western Australia are employed under Conditions of Employment. These conditions apply to staff based at the Leederville, Bunbury, Geraldton and Broome Offices, and also to school-based Catholic Education WA administrative staff.

Salary Schedules

Salary schedules for January 2016 and June 2016 in relation to your position classification and experience have been revised according to the Enterprise Bargaining Agreements. The current schedule is correct at the time of posting. Your school administrative staff can assist with initial salary queries. 

Salary Packaging

Salary packaging in compliance with the Catholic Education Commission of Western Australia's policy statement is available to all staff working in Catholic Education in Western Australia. Please be advised that staff who wish to salary package must receive independent financial advice prior to proceeding with packaging.

All Catholic school staff are required to comply with Catholic Education Commission of Western Australia policy statements as they relate to employment in their school. Individual schools will also have policies that staff are expected to know and adhere to.
